Oasis - Champagne Supernova

Simply one of the greatest rock anthems of all-time.

And probably the most obscure but beautiful lyrics about drugs and sex during the peak of Brit-Pop era.

Even after more than 10 years, when the guitar solos fly into my ears, I can still hear my heart pounding, and my skin hairs get electrified.

This song reminds me why I fell in love with Rock & Roll in the summer of 1996, how long the road I've been walking through, and where I want to go in the next decade.

This song reminds me when I was 17, what the world was alike, what kind of person I wanted to be, and what's the dream I wanted to achieve.

Every time listening to Champagne Supernova, the air freezes, and the space is transcended beyond my current consciousness. It seems like nobody really gets old.

This song sums up my youth.

The saong reminds me the summer too (I was 18 by then..)

Everything seens to be so far away yet it feels so close by with the song playing at the background.

This is the power of music I guess.

Really miss Oasis in their old days...or it is becuase I am old???

跟pulp一樣，在96,97的時候踏進了搖滾的暗流中，這幾年來也接觸幾年的電子音樂，隨著年紀的增長，也在去年的時候重新拿出(What's the Story) Morning Glory?專輯，不知是不是隨著時間，身邊發生的經歷與歌詞中的世界交錯，有相當相當的感觸....
再一次聆聽，也發現了這首歌豐富的聲音及情緒，是我最喜歡的oasis作品~~~

oasis的mv實在糟糕,音樂也無法讓我接受,旦究竟..讓我第一首對於搖滾樂有興趣
也因此崇尚的音樂卻也是oasis,旦因為版主又在youtube上聽了oasis的一些歌,
聽到的卻是添加感十足的殘缺,已經完全沒有興趣時,又以捉模記憶的心態點了
聽了wonderwall卻又十足的喜歡(就是這首,我的第一次)以主唱為主而且甚至明顯
降低樂器可聽性的音樂,是否是記憶對於感動得延續?我想會在更多更多次的聆聽後
找到答案.
